Instructions to Present a session at the Conference

Thank you for submitting a paper for presentation at the conference.  The following guidelines for the presentation of your paper(s) are provided to ensure a smooth running conference.

 

Prior to Your Session

  • Liaise with the conference support people on the floor where your room is located on the day of the presentation to ensure, where possible, that technical requirements have been met (e.g. are presentations downloaded on the PC in your room? memory stick links for presentation working, etc.?
  • Please arrive in your auditorium/room at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the session, in order to load your presentation and meet your session chair.
  • A PC and projector are set up in each auditorium/room. All PCs use Windows 7 or Windows 10 and have the Microsoft Office 2010 installed.
  • You are requested to save your PowerPoint presentations (only accepted format, in 2016 or earlier version) on a USB memory stick (Mac and Linux users: please make sure you have saved the presentation in a compatible format). We also advise that you make an extra copy on another USB memory stick as a back up.
  • Internet access is provided in each presentation auditorium/room.
  • To ensure that presentations are not delayed, we request you to refrain from bringing your own laptops into the No personal laptop should be connected to the projector. We can only provide support on our own equipment.
  • Please respect the session chair’s guidelines, in particular concerning the time allocated to each paper.
